What about COVID?

Our number one priority is keeping all of our guests and staff safe. We will be paying constant and close attention to changes to Government advice and reacting accordingly. Rest assured that we will take every step to ensure we are doing all we can to keep us all protected

-How will things be socially distanced?

We will lay each site out so that each bell tent will be far enough away to allow each group to have plenty of space. The central unit is a vast tipi in which all furniture will be laid out with enough distance to keep you all socially distanced. Have a look at our accommodation here. 

-How will you keep us safe onsite?

We will conduct a deep clean of all sleeping and communal infrastructure in between each booking so that you will arrive safe in the knowledge that it is a fully cleansed site. We will also have plenty of cleaning materials on site for you to continue wiping everything down in a safe way whilst on your trip in those areas where you will be mixing with others from your group. Our caterers and onsite guest management team will all be fully COVID-compliant and wearing PPE gear at all times when in contact with you. We will ask you to submit the contact details of your entire party to the NHS Track and Test system prior to your departure.

-What happens if there is a lockdown in the area from which I am travelling, or in the region in which the site I am travelling to is located?

If the government guidance stops your plans to travel with us, we will be able to offer you a date change so that you can enjoy your getaway with us at a later time. Please contact our guest relations team who can discuss this with you

- What does it all cost?

To keep things super simple all sites are priced the same and all bookings come with breakfast and dinner.


Kymani Getaways Exclusive Hire

Each site can be booked for between 2-7 nights depending on the day you check-in, and the exclusive site hire fee is £1975 per night for two people per tent ( 20 people in total), which includes 10 luxury bell tents, breakfast, dinner, and use of the onsite facilities. If your group is a little bigger then it’s £50 per additional adult or £25 per child per night, allowing your group to increase from 20 to up to 40. 5s and under are free (up to 10 infants then £50 per additional infant for two nights).

Kymani Getaways Collective Hire 

Kymani Collective offers the chance for smaller groups to get away from it all for a few days and will allow for a number of small groups to share the site for between 2-7 nights depending on the day you check-in. Each tent costs £197.50 per night for two people which includes breakfast, dinner and use of the onsite facilities.  Each tent can sleep a maximum of 4 people so If your group is a little bigger then it’s £50 per additional adult or £25 per child for per night. 5s and under are free.

Booking costs include

  • Bedding, linens and all the home comforts you need
  • Hot showers and proper toilets
  • All breakfasts & dinners cooked up for you by our onsite caterers made with locally-sourced ingredients
  • Central giant Tipi with a banquet table, library, lounge and games area

- Ar e hen and stag parties welcome? 

Hen and Stag parties are most welcome but please get in touch to have a chat, as some sites are more suitable than others. Please also note that you must book the site in exclusivity.

-What happens if the rule of six is re-introduced?

As above, we will work with you to offer a date change. Please contact our guest relations team to have a chat

-Should I get travel insurance?

We’d always recommend having good travel insurance and in these times in particular please ensure that you have a policy that covers you in the event of a cancellation – your coverage in the event of Coronavirus will all depend on the insurer that you choose to go with

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

We work with a whole range of local food and drink suppliers to keep you fully fed and watered so all you need to do is just turn up and we’ll have thought of the rest. Of course, if you want to bring additional snacks/children’s food then you are very welcome to do so!

Do you supply bedding?

Of course! We supply all bedding including sheets, pillows and duvets. We’ll also have a few cozy blankets to keep you warm should the weather turn

What do I need to bring?

It’s important to remember that we are at the mercy of the great British weather, so please pack accordingly for all inclement conditions! All of your bedding and dining needs will be taken care of, so just bring your clothes and a towel to enjoy a hot shower and you’re good to go!

What’s the bathroom and shower situation?

There will be toilet and shower units complete with flushing toilet and hot water

How do I charge my phone?

Each tent will have a power source to charge your phones, fear not!

Can we smoke?

You can of course enjoy a cigarette around our central campfire (and anywhere outdoors in fact!) but please do not smoke in any of our sleeping or communal structures. A part of your deposit will not be refunded if we find you have smoked anywhere indoors

How many people can be in my group?

You can either hire the site out exclusively for those special occasions for between 20-40 people or you can book for a smaller group of two tents or more.

Will we have complete exclusivity?

If you get in there early enough then yes! We love welcoming large groups looking to hire the site exclusively for special occasions but we also welcome smaller groups too of four people or more ( minimum booking two tents for two nights).

How do we get there?

Our guest relations team will be in touch just before your trip with some more detailed directions

What are the arrival and departure times?

Each group should arrive from 3pm and depart at 10am. You can liaise with our guest relations team in advance and let us know what time you're planning to arrive

What’s your cancellation policy?

For non-Covid related cancellations, you will receive a 50% refund if cancelled within 60 days of your booking. Any cancellations that occur within 30 days will not be refunded

What’s there to do locally?

Each location has its own unique charm and you'll be spoiled for choice with activities on your doorstep. We also have a network of suppliers who can come to the site to entertain you, all of which can be pre-booked in advance. This allows you to completely tailor your trip. Can I purchase a gift card?

How long can I stay? 

Of course – depending on the day that you check-in you can stay for between 2-7 nights.

Is the camp lit at night?

The site boundary will be lit with festoon lights, and each tent will also have cosy interior lighting

What’s your environmental policy?

We will source fully compostable and sustainable materials that can be reused and recycled, and use solar power as much as possible. We ask you to respect our leave no trace policy when you leave our sites

Can we make noise into the evening?

Each site will have its own rules around noise which we will have agreed with the landowner and that you in turn will agree with us when you book – these hours are published below:

If you break your agreement with us and make excessive noise then we will have to be fun police and intervene, which we really don't want to have to do.

What happens if it rains the whole time?

This is England! Don’t worry – each of the bell tents will always be warm and dry, and the central tipi will have plenty of cover in case it’s raining. You’ll also find a range of books and games within the lounge section of the central to keep you entertained

Where can I park?

There will be plenty of parking on-site or very close by. Our onsite team will contact you before your departure with full directions and parking information

Is there WiFi?

Kymani offer you the chance to get back to nature for a few days so there is no WiFi onsite. However, all sites have a pretty decent 4G connection so if you really need to get online you could use a mobile hotspot
